57th Blog Mr. PERFECTIONIST - Wish you a very Happy B'day

-->
After a very long time, I write on the birthday of my one of the all time best-loved Actor, Mr. AAMIR KHAN, here I not use the term “Bolly-wood” in between “my one of the all time best-loved” words, there may be several reason behind this, one of them is “Acting is an Art and so the Performer is an Artist and can't be caged in a word, so it also not caged in the nomenclature that separates the Artist from being a Holly, Bolly, Tolly etc. Because I believe a good artist is very hard to find and when you find, you need to respect. And he is not only a Actor apart he is a Creator.

AAMIR KHAN – A name that introduced and defines a very new word to our film industry i.e. the “PERFECTIONIST” Many would believe that the word ‘Perfection’ was discovered after he was born. In case of Actor, after Tom Hanks, I was only able to find this person who is to much dedicated towards his profession and try his best effort to get the finest result. The term “Perfectionist” is so synonymous with him that over a period of time it has almost become his ‘middle name’. He is also termed as one of Bollywood’s most enigmatic actors like Big B.

He was born on March 14, 1965 to Tahir Hussain, a Hindi film producer, and also known as by several Nick name like A.K, AK, Mr. Perfectioist, Tom Hanks of India. People among the globe thinks he is very talented in his work and profession, so he is and believe to be deliver the best-est in his every attempt. He was first introduced as a child artiste in the 1970's hit Yaadon ki Baarat (1973), he was the youngest child in the trio, and also played a role of child artist in Madhosh (1974). He then concentrated on school and became a state tennis champion for Maharashtra. He fell in love with the girl next door in the meantime, named Reena Dutta. He proposed to her the day he turned 21, and she accepted. But apparently, there was opposition since she was from a Hindu family and he, from a devout Islamic one. So, they run off, got married and returned to their homes. Aamir's wife Reena even appears in the song "Papa Kehte Hain". Later he divorced his first wife in December 2001 (don't know the reason why he divorced her love, here I respect Mr. SRK) and married Kiran Rao in December 2005. After a long span of Eleven years, he made his adult acting debut in a role that went quite unnoticed in Ketan Mehta's Holi (1984). his first notable leading role came in 1988 in the film Qayamat se Qayamat tak, which was a breakthrough commercial success, and played a vital role in launching his career as a leading Actor. His performance in Earth (1998) as the Ice-Candy man has received rave reviews from Indian and International critics. Using classic "method acting" and adopted an acting technique inspired by his seniors. He acts in all genres of Indian films - comedy, action, drama and romance. He is regarded as complete Indian actor of the post 1990 generation of actors for his diverse choice of roles and films. This iconic mega star of Bollywood has never been afraid to tread on less traversed paths in his movie roles. He is a method actor, he is a creator in his own words. his range of characterizations remains unparalleled and because of this diversity and his ability to portray different characters believably on screen, today he is regarded as not only one of the biggest Superstars but also one of the finest actors of Indian Cinema. ,Unlike other stars who have three to four releases every year, He is believed to release one big movie every year, but with a perfection and dedication. His movie “LAGAAN” received critical acclaim and awards at international film festivals, as well as many Indian film awards. It became the third Hindi-language film to be nominated for the Academy Award for best Foreign language film after Mother India (1957) and Salaam Bombay (1988). It was one of the biggest box office hits of 2001. In 2010, the film was ranked No. 55 in Empire magazines and being "The 100 Best Films of World Cinema". In 2011, it was listed in Time magazine's special "The All-TIME 25 Best Sports Movies". He also appeared in his TV Serial "SATYAMEV JAYATE" that also received a critically acclaimed success.

He is appeared in several roles and characters ranging from Romance to Villain, Youth, Socialist and many more. In his second film Raakh (a small, art film) he did a complete opposite role from the lover boy of his first film, his breakthrough performance in this film bagged him the National Film Award of Special Jury. Afterwards he signed a few not so good films which failed at the box office. In the year 1990 he delivered the biggest grosser of the year in the form of Dil and since then he has not looked back giving several commercial and critical hits, his superlative performances include films like Dil, Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin, Daulat Ki Jung, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Parampara, Andaz Apna Apna (One of best comedy movie I ever seen), Baazi, Rangeela, Akele Hum Akele Tum, Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Earth, Ghulam, Sarfarosh, Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, Mangal Panday, Fanaa, Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen per, Ghajini, 3 Idiots, Talaash. In 2007 he turned director with the film Taare Zameen Par which not only brought him immense critical acclaim but was a huge box office success. Many of his films are considered as cult classics like QSQT, Lagaan, Dil Chahta Hai, Range De Basanti, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander and Andaz Apna Apna.

In the words of Kareena Kapoor “Aamir is a living legend. He has a beautiful mind and he definitely is one of the finest actors of all time”.

Awards: Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian hon-our from the Government of India; 3 National Film Awards; Filmfare Best Male Debut Award, 2 Filmfare Best Actor Awards, 2 Filmfare Best Movie Awards, Filmfare Best Director Award, Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance.

Trivia: He has a reputation for shunning award ceremonies and not accepting any Indian awards.

Out of his Personal quotas my most favorite was only below two -:

Every film I do means a lot to me. The failure of Mela, definitely made a difference to me. I am not comfortable with the idea of my films not releasing to their full potential.

I enjoy the love I receive from my fans and my audience. But I think I know what is real for me and what is not. ---- The Best One.

I'm not sure but I can evaluate, some very fine day he will be able to receive the best Award of Glamor industry, “The Academy Award”. May god bless you'll receive that for the Industry of Bolly-wood.

My heartiest Birthday wishes to Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood "AAMIR KHAN".

Regards
Dhitendra
Keep Smiling :-)
