A Respect with bottom of Heart - Born on 15th Oct. 1931 at Rameswaram in Tamilnadu, An alumni of Madras Institute of Technology, 11th President of India (Most renowned after Dr. Rajendra Prasad), A Professor & Scientist by profession, worked at DRDO, ISRO, the Project Director of India's first indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV-III), Chief Executive of Integrated Guided Missile Development Pro gramme (IGMDP) at DRDO, credited with the development of and operationalization of India's Agni and Prithvi missiles. He worked as the Scientific Adviser to the De-fence Minister and Secretary, Department of De-fence Research & Development from 1992 to 1999. During this period , the Pokhran-II nuclear tests were conducted. Dr. Kalam held the office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India from November 1999 to November 2001, He is a prolific author to guide coming generation, especially of India. having endless love for the children & also has met children across the country & encouraged them. A range of Honors & Awards in Bag-pack, Believe in the humanity as a religion, A living legend, a ruler, a simple human being, an intelligent mind, motivational leader, an Idol, fulfilled with amazing potential skills, soft spoken, respected across the world. Universe better known him as "The Missile Man of INDIA".

His vision is to make India a developed country. He has given his plan of action and a road map for realizing his vision. He has articulated his thoughts in his three books: India 2020: A Vision for the New Millennium, Wings of Fire: An Autobiography of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and Ignited Minds: Unleashing the Power Within India. India has already started looking to Dr. Kalam for inspiration and guidance. 

In 1997 Dr. Kalam was given the highest civilian award of India, the Bharat Ratna.

If there is an open option for Public to choose the President of India - No doubt "he is only the deserving candidate here".


My message, especially to young people is to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the problems and succeed. These are great qualities that they must work towards. This is my message to the young people.
